| Description Rob Lowe stars as William Conroy, a college professor serving time in state prison for vehicular manslaughter. Having served all but a few months of his six-year sentence, William discovers that he has become the target of a victim's rights group who is trying to have him murdered in prison as an act of revenge. James Coburn co-stars as Jim Corcoran, the leader of the activist group who has colluded with the corrupt prison warden to make good on the promise made to the victim's relatives. Scott Ziehl directs from a Ben Queen and Seamus Ruene script that forces William into a desperate race to expose the true intention of an extreme organisation before they seal his fate. Produced by Joel Silver (The Matrix, Lethal Weapon 1-4), Proximity delivers the type of gripping action sequences and daring stunts that have become trademarks of his films.
